Unity Developer

Do you want to help people with better help and to overcome their fears with Virtual Reality and develop in Unity? Then this position is made for you!!

What does your day look like?

While making your first cup of coffee, you check the tickets in the sprint. During the daily stand-up you discuss with your team what you will be doing that day and who you need for what. You start your first ticket and dive into the code. After a nice lunch with colleagues, the afternoon starts with code reviewing of completed tickets. Here you give your fellow developers feedback on their code. You round off the afternoon by testing the completed tickets.

Your role:

As a developer of the Blikopener team (VR) you contribute to new functionalities like; a better view of the therapist or making the app more interactive. Also you develop new programs like needlestick anxiety, assertiveness training, new social anxiety training or improve our EMDR module. You will work closely with your Therapieland colleagues who have a psychological background. They provide you the information for the story to progam in Unity3D (U3D).

In this role you will work with 2 other Unity developers and the VR Lead. We work on Innovations in U3D and android fusion and IOS related technologies, including but not limited to new communication frameworks.Together you will learn, share knowledge and also drink beers at the IJ and go on a skitrip. If you are a senior we challenge you to further develop the team.

Design, build and maintain efficient, clean, reusable and reliable code
Further development and professionalisation of our VR application Blikopener
Helping the team to optimize processes
Further professionalisation of the Blikopener team

You are successful in this role because you:

Have done several professional projects in Unity3D
You have knowledge of multiple programming languages and data formats, including C#
Have experience working with GIT
It is nice to have knowledge of app architecture
You are familiar with Cross-Platform development, including Android, iOS and Pico
You have experience with performance optimization;
